Nathan Stahley, MSW, SWLC
Nathan Stahley brings his passion for collaboration and helping communities thrive as the NASW Idaho Executive Director. Nathan has served as the NASW Montana Executive Director since 2022 and brings nearly 20 years of experience working with diverse populations and teams in public health and social service sectors, he has led teams, managed grants, developed programs, and worked directly with clients.
Nathan completed his Master of Social Work degree at the University of Montana (UM) in 2022. He is currently working on his LCSW Candidate hours and sees patients as a member of a small practice under clinical supervision. Before committing to a career as a social worker, Nathan spent eight years at the city-county health department in Billings, MT where he served in several roles in the areas of suicide prevention, cancer screening, and tobacco prevention and promoting trauma-informed care in local hospitals and public schools.
Nathan is excited to work with and support social workers across the state of Idaho and beyond. He enjoys hiking, fishing, and playing/watching live music in his free time.
